TODAY – Predators vs Jets showdown!

TODAY marks a monumental day for the Aberdeen hockey community as the Aberdeen Predators face off against the Lossiemouth Jets in a thrilling charity game. This isn’t just any match; it’s a game that brings together past and present Aberdeen Lynx players, to guest for the Preds and Jets – whilst supporting the Archie Foundation.

However, the excitement doesn’t end with the players. The benches will be led by two former Lynx coaches, adding another layer of intrigue to the game. In the blue corner (bench), we have Peter Leyden, a veteran hockey coach and proud father to Lynx’s very own coach and player, Jordan Leyden. Jordan will be making a special appearance for the Jets. The question on everyone’s mind: Can Peter steer the Jets out of the danger zone?

On the opposite side, in the yellow corner (bench), stands Marc McAndrew. A name synonymous with Lynx’s resurgence, Marc played a pivotal role in reviving ice hockey after the Linx Ice Arena had shut its doors for several years. His dedication and passion are the reasons the team stands strong today. As he gears up to lead the Predators, we can’t help but wonder: Will Marc’s strategy be to hunt down the opposition one at a time?

Join us for this epic showdown and support a great cause!
